Four couples, a shared WhatsApp thread that started planning three weeks out, and a long weekend built entirely around Bandra dinners, Colaba mornings and whichever rooftop was still going at 2am.
One coffee sit-down with a Mumbai hospitality group kept it technically a work trip.
DAY 1 — THU
Landing in Bandra
Thu–Mon · 4 nights
Check into Taj Lands End, Bandra — sea-facing rooms, walkable to everything that matters this weekend.
Dinner at Pali Village Cafe, then drinks at Ellchi to shake off the flight.
DAY 2 — FRI
Colaba Morning
Quiet coffee, then head to Colaba.
Morning coffee meeting with a Mumbai hospitality group scouting gaming-floor consulting — the one Amaan Advisors reason this trip is deductible.
By noon: Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway for shopping, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.
Dinner at Trishna for the butter-pepper-garlic crab, then straight into AntiSOCIAL Bandra for the late set.
DAY 3 — SAT
Marine Drive to Midnight
Brunch at The Bombay Canteen, then a Marine Drive walk and Haji Ali Dargah at low tide.
Sunset drinks on the rooftop at Aer, Four Seasons — book ahead; the whole group won't fit without a table held.
Dinner at Bastian, followed by nightlife at Kitty Su to close the night out properly.
DAY 4 — SUN
Slow Morning, Big Finish
Pool morning, then a boat out to Elephanta Caves for the group that's still standing.
Farewell dinner, all eight of us together, at Ziya.
Last drinks at Soho House Mumbai.
DAY 5 — MON
Home
Late checkout, one more coffee at the hotel, then flights out through the afternoon.
